![]() ![]() SPAC is a forum that focuses on relationships and building bridges between the South Precinct and the community that they serve; to create a cohesive community voice which has a platform for advocacy and ability to work on precinct-wide public safety ![]() AUGUST VIRTUAL SPAC MEETING ![]() South Precinct Advisory Council (SPAC*) August 13th, 2020 5:30pm-6:30pm Registration Required Tonight, Thursday, August 13th, we will be joined by A/Cpt. Aagard for a precinct and violent crimes update. Also, representatives from the Office of Police Accountability (OPA) will be joining us for the Virtual South Precinct Advisory Council Meeting. OPA is responsible for investigating complaints of Seattle Police Department (SPD) employee misconduct. They also engage with the community about police oversight, recommend SPD policy revisions, and monitor serious uses of force.
