Sound Transit Invites Potentially Affected Property Owners to Schedule a Virtual Briefing Meeting
Last fall Sound Transit mailed project introduction letters to property owners identified in the Draft EIS as being potentially affected by one or more of the project alternatives. Business and residential property owners can participate in webinars to learn more about what would happen if the Sound Transit Board of Directors selects a project to be built that would require their property.
If you received a potentially affected property owner letter and would like to attend an upcoming meeting, sign up here!
These group briefings provide an opportunity to learn more about the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) that will be published on January 28, 2022 followed by a 90-day comment period. They will also provide an overview of the property acquisition process. Please note that specific impacts to individual properties are not yet finalized and will not be discussed at this time.
Once you’ve selected a briefing time slot, Sound Transit will send a confirmation of your property owner briefing with additional details within two business days.
