September VIRTUAL SPAC MEETING
South Precinct Advisory Council (SPAC*)
September 10, 2020
Thursday, September 10th, we will be joined by Captain Kibbee for a precinct and violent crimes update. Also, Lt. John Brooks from the newly formed Community Response Group will join SPAC this month. The CRG-Community Response Group, represents a substantial reorganization and re-prioritization of the Seattle Police Department. A central component of CRG is to be responsive to community issues and priorities. Working with community groups and the precinct commands they hope to apply resources to address trends, identified issues and support collaboration in the community. The unit will assist precinct officers and focus on identified problems. They believe this represents an opportunity to enhance the services we provide and to be more responsive to community needs.
