Silviyana Opens in SODO – Bringing the Eco-Conscious Wedding Shopping Experience to Seattle

Silviyana offers bespoke and ready-to-wear eco and vegan wedding gowns that speak to a bride’s culture, character and personal story. Silviyana’s approach to wedding dress shopping is simple, they ask brides this one question, “what story do you want your dress to tell?” This approach allows Silviyana a clear path to curating a custom eco wedding gown that resonates with the wearer.

Silviyana is now offering an exclusive by-appointment wedding dress shopping experience in their Seattle Showroom. “Being part of Saltbox, a community of like-minded entrepreneurs allows us to be in the heart of the hum-drum of Seattle entrepreneurship scene, while having space to showcase the creative process and expanding our online marketplace”, says CEO and Founder Seychelle Wilmouth.

Silviyana, LLC is a POC, women-owned small business that looks at redefining the wedding shopping experience. Established in 2018, Silviyana has been working with independent designers to create one-of-a-kind, eco and vegan wedding dresses using natural and environmentally friendly materials such as by-product pineapple leaf fibers, Philippine banana trunk fibers, finest spun mulberry silk and American organic cotton. With eight independent designers (and counting) creating unique creations, we are a collective that is looking to push the boundaries on eco-conscious wedding gown designs while focusing on the story and the people behind the creation of each gown. All eco fabrics are sourced directly from farmers and artisan. All are scrapped by hand, knotted by hand and woven by hand, Silviyana works directly with a women’s cooperative in the Philippines to create design and produce their eco fabrics.
