Link light rail service will be temporarily suspended between Capitol Hill and SODO stations January 15 and 16
Link Shuttle buses will operate to transport riders between stations
Due to planned rail maintenance, Link light rail will be temporarily suspended between Capitol Hill and SODO stations from the start of service Saturday, January 15 through the end of service Sunday, January 16. Normal operations will resume at the start of service Monday, January 17.
During this time, Sound Transit will provide Link Shuttle buses to transport passengers. The buses will run every 15 minutes and stop at all stations between Capitol Hill and SODO. Passengers should plan ahead and allow for extra time for transfers between buses and trains.
Alternatively, riders can also take Route 8 from Seattle Center to Capitol Hill. Riders traveling between Downtown Seattle and SODO can take routes 101, 150 or 594. Please note that late-night Link riders can connect to Route 132 at SODO Station (with departures at 12:05 a.m., 12:35 a.m. and 1:05 a.m.) by walking to 4th Ave. and S. Lander St.
