As longtime advocates for the East Marginal Way Corridor Improvement Project, we were extremely proud to participate in its groundbreaking this morning! This is a two-year redesign of Seattle's most important freight corridor, connecting the Port of Seattle, the National Highway System, rail, and businesses together. When completed in 2026, East Marginal Way will be safer and more efficient for all users and modes of transportation. There will be a separated bike facility, a new earthquake-resistant water main, and a reconstructed roadway for heavy haul vehicles.

Known for creating works that represent duality, @francofasolijaz created 'Lo privado en lo publico' to depict a personal scene that invites the public into a private space. You can catch a glimpse of this colorful scene on the light rail or at 1924 4th Ave S. Go see it for yourself!

One of the best things about #SODO is finding the hidden gems that you can't find anywhere else in Seattle! @oftheearth_collective is just one of those gems, a humble and cozy community pottery studio where they encourage you to try new hobbies and express your creativity. Of the Earth offers classes and workshops for newbies, 'Play Dates,' and open studio space for experienced potters to hone their craft. Sign up for a class or two at 4800 Airport Way S #100! 🎨
