Communication, Outreach and Advocacy
Engage SODO focuses on increasing communication and interaction within SODO so that the BIA most effectively represents and executes the interests and priorities of the ratepayers. Here are our current goals:
- Hold at least four quarterly business networking events
- Identify potential groups and engage businesses
- Identify areas to establish micro-communities through out the district
- Identify other CRM platforms for BIA functionality and ease of staff use
- Identify key information to track
- Produce and Release SODO Stories video & accompanying content
- Research and implement website improvements
- Continue and expand monthly newsletter and semi-annual one sheets
- Engage ratepayers through marketing/media kit, website badges, window clings, etc.
- Visit SODO ratepayers in their business
