Ghostfish Brewing
If you’re looking for gluten-free, look no further. Ghostfish Brewing prides themselves on serving award-winning gluten free beers, as well as full gluten-free food menu including wings, burgers, pretzels and desserts. You can find their comfortable taproom, adorned with “Ghostfish” murals and an outdoor patio, at 2942 1st Avenue South.

Hatback Bar & Grill and Steelheads Alley
The Seattle Mariners recently opened the Hatback Bar and Grille and Steelheads Alley in the old Pyramid Brewery space featuring brews from locally-owned Metier Brewing, one of the few black-owned breweries in the country. Here you can enjoy sports memorabilia dating back to the early days of Seattle while you savor a wood-fired pizza in a comfortably refined setting. Hatback Bar & Grille is located across the street from T-Mobile Park at 1201 1st Avenue South.

Hooverville Bar
Featuring 22 taps (and nearly 160 liquors) in a traditional, dive-bar setting, Hooverville Bar is a local favorite sitting in the shadows of Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park. Featuring arcade games along walls accessorized with antique signs and historic photos, this small bar is usually found packed during game day. You can find this friendly low-key watering hole at 1721 1st Avenue South, right next to Slice Box Pizza and the Fast Fashion brewery facilities.

Seapine Brewing
Offering a light, hip space with Edison bulbs strung above wooden accents, Seapine Brewery offers growler fills, brews on tap and beers by the can in their trendy taproom warehouse located at 2959 Utah Avenue South. Stop by their tasting room to try out a new small batch brew, or enjoy their outdoor patio on a sunny day with a familiar favorite.

Siren Tavern
Siren Tavern is another friendly local go-to dive bar that’s been around since 1963, featuring cold beer pitchers, stiff drinks and tasty eats. This no-frills favorite for locals holds regular holiday parties, features dart boards, pull-tab games, and even some pool tables. This great firefighter-themed drinkery even includes an outdoor patio out back, located at 3403 4th Avenue South.

The Woods Tasting Room
Sharing a space in the south end of SODO, Seattle Cider and Two Beers Brewing are two popular brands that you’ve probably seen on tap at plenty of bars and restaurants across the region. With that said, we think the best pour is from the source at The Woods Tasting Room located at 4660 Ohio Avenue South. Their tasting room serves delicious burgers from local caterer Bread & Circuses, and now features a neon-themed arcade room, perfect for any group outing!

Vinason Pho
Vinason Pho opened up their SODO location in 2022, featuring a self-serve beer wall serving 40 different beverages from beer and cider, to wine and even a few cannabis drinks. This is one of the perfect places to watch any game, seeing as they boast the largest LED screen in town! Serving a delicious variety of beers and yummy Vietnamese food, you can find Vinason Pho located at 1521 1st Avenue South.
